2/7/85 Top 20 Countdown
Every Saturday I make a playlist of the Top 20 Countdown from this week in 1985.
This week Foreigner is still trying to figure out what love is and the top 5 shows a little bit of movement, but the real story is what is entering the charts. Kool and The Gang are a little misleading with a new sound, John Fogerty’s Centerfield begins it’s dominance with it’s first single and the absolute champions of Nacht Rawk, REO Speedwagon, knows what love is, and can’t fight it anymore.
None of this really matters though because David Lee Roth has entered the chat at #13 with his assessment of women worldwide.
Skiddely‑diddely‑bop, friends.
Skiddely. Diddely. Bop.
